Here is a collection of mostly FSU-origin SAM systems worldwide. So far the number is over 1400, when you combine this group with the two collections of SA-1 GUILD sites around Moscow I've located previously! What you've got here is three folders, SAMs by country, SAMs by type, and Range Rings. Each folder has numerous subfolders for easy reference. The SAMs by country folder has a subfolder for each nation where SAM sites can be found. If you only want to view SAM sites in Turkmenistan, there you go! The SAMs by type folder has a subfolder for each SAM type, allowing the viewer to peruse SA-3 sites worldwide, for example. The SAMs by type folder also contains subfolders for EW radar sites associated with SAM systems (such as the 64N6 BIG BIRD EW radar associated with the S-300P family) and for military garrisons where SAM equipment is located. There is also a third folder for SAM-related facilities where you can locate SAM test ranges and the like. Finally, there is a folder for inactive or unoccupied sites, again organized by type.
